The 20th annual meeting of the Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society/Société Canadienne de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles (CAIMS/SCMAI) will be held simultaneously with the Journée des éléments finis at Université Laval, Québec, Québec, Friday Sunday, June 11-13, 1999.

There will be invited lectures and mini symposia organized by invited contributors. One of them is being organized in collaboration with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and another one in collaboration with GAMM.

There will also be personal communications in various fields of applied mathematics and a poster session. For this, you are now invited to submit a proposal in electronic form.

All contributions, communications or posters, will be reviewed by the scientific committee

Registration can now be made electronically.

Late registration will also be possible, at the meeting site, on Thursday, June 10.

Other highlights will include the annual CAIMS/SCMAI doctoral dissertation award lecture; a prize for the best graduate student poster; commercial displays, reception, banquet, and more.
